The 18th and Vine Jazz District in Kansas City offers a lot of interesting activities.
The American Jazz Museum, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum plenty of great Restaurants and music venues.
The new renovations that have taken place in recent years takes you back to another era.

Kansas City Symphony at Webster House FREE PERFORMANCE Saturday February 26th at 6.15 PM

Heres a great Bar-B-Q place to eat at in Kansas CIty ( B.B.'s Lawnside Bar-B-Q )

My Wife and I ordered take out from here 2 weeks ago! What a great little place.
We went there on a Thursday which like today is "Thursday Rib Special" which is a Full slab of ribs plus 2 sides for $14.95 or Half slab with 1 side $ 9.50  which ever you can handle we opted for the Full slab which was more then enough food for 2 and tasted delicious yummy!
I also noticed they have a drinks HAPPY HOUR me being British noticed the Beer special which was really cheap $1.50 on domestic bottled beer.
The Staff were very welcoming and helpful even though we were taking the food to go.
They also have live music which my wife and me fully intend on popping over to to check out.
This evening Thursday 17th February  Samantha Fish blues band is playing there.
We really do recommend this place and thats from just ordering food to go!

"A DAY OUT AT KANSAS CITY ZOO"

Kansas City Zoo is located in the heart of Swope Park at 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64132.

The Zoo is open all year round and at the moment admission is only $6 which is great deal!
There are plenty of exhibits to keep you busy the whole day.
Visit Nikita the Polar Bear watch him swim and live in a polar environment.
This Saturday February 19th there is the Polar Bear Pajama Party where you are able to sleep over at the Zoo how fun this sounds!

FREE COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS IN CROWN CENTER, KANSAS CITY

Free cooking Demonstrations Wednesday, February 23rd- 24th
Pitmaster Chris Marks of the renowned Three Little Pigs competition barbeque team will share some of his secrets for beef tenderloin at a free cooking demonstration on Wednesday, February 23. The next day, February 24, Jon Brown of Z-Teca Fresh Mexican Grill shares some knowledge of his own, on how to prepare a roasted corn salsa. Both sessions begin at noon.

Puppets for the Planet Festival !!!! At Westport Roanoke Community Center

StoneLion Puppet Theatre are hosting Puppets for the Planet Festival at Westport Roanoke Community Center on Saturday February 26th from 10am until 3pm.

The Tivoli Cinemas 2011 Oscar Nominated Short Film Showcases

If you like short films then this is the place to head .

Kansas City Union Station"KC Rail experience" exhibit

What a great place to visit the Kansas City Union Station built in 1914 is rich with history.
They currently have have a  exhibit called the KC Rail Experience which tells the story of the American railroad and how it shaped Kansas City and the nation.
