Kansas City Union Station"KC Rail experience" exhibit

What a great place to visit the Kansas City Union Station built in 1914 is rich with history.

They currently have have a  exhibit called the KC Rail Experience which tells the story of the American railroad and how it shaped Kansas City and the nation.

The Union Station building is Open 6 am to Midnight Daily. Union Station attractions operate with the following hours.

Science City and KC Rail Experience:

Winter Hours: Now thru Feb. 20:
Closed Tue & Wed
Open Thu & Fri, 9:30 am to 4 pm
Open Sat, 9:30 am to 5 pm
Open Sun, Noon to 5 pm

Open Monday, Feb. 21 Presidents' Day

Model Railroad Experience:

Winter Hours: Now thru Feb. 20:
Open Tue & Wed, 9:30 am to 3 pm
Open Thu & Fri, 9:30 am to 4 pm
Open Sat, 9:30 am to 5 pm
Open Sun, Noon to 5 pm

Admission

Admission to the Union Station building is FREE, but there is a charge for the attractions.

Ticket prices apply to patrons 3 and older. For those 2 and under, admission is free.
